MEMBER NOMINATION: MTS Logistics Nominated 2HM Logistics for a Successful Collaboration
MTS Logistics, would like to spotlight a successful operation they’ve been running with our 2HM Logistics for a key client supplying large cable reels to multiple destinations across Eastern Europe.
The client’s sites are often not equipped with container unloading gear, so together with 2HM, our X2 Elite members built a reliable distribution model via Koper to bridge that gap.
Shipment Summary:
Cargo: Cables
POL: Alexandria Port, Egypt
POD: Koper, Slovenia
Volume: 800 TEUs to date, including 30+ special equipment containers
The Challenge:
MTS needed a fast and cost-effective way to cross-dock the cargo, keeping it safe during transit, while also making it simple for the consignee to unload on-site with minimal equipment and minimal complications.
The Solution:
2HM Logistics designed custom wooden blocks tailored to the reel specifications. These blocks holstered the cargo securely in place, ensuring full stability during inland transport and easy handling at the destination.

Minimal handling effort required on-site
Depending on weight and dimensions, the reels are shipped in flat racks, open tops, or dry vans. Containers are devanned at the port and reloaded onto suitable trailers for last-mile delivery. MTS Logistics and 2HM jointly manage this door-to-door flow, enabling short lead times, smooth operations, and competitive rates.
Thanks to this seamless setup and the quality of service, volumes have been steadily increasing, and our client continues to grow its presence in the region.
