Altius executes the transport of two transformers of 160 tons each
Altius has delivered successfully another shipment of transformers and accessories!
This time, cargo belongs to the Campos del Sol Project, currently under construction at the Atacama Region, Chile and includes two transformers of 10,30 x 3,45 x 4,60 m (L x W x H) and 160 ton each along with the usual set of accessories.
Altius Chile received the shipment under hook at Puerto Angamos and coordinated all logistics activities, in a 550 kms travel crossing the barren territories of the North of Chile until the delivery of the cargo on foundations at the jobsite.
It’s also worthy to mention the great job done by all the people involved, overcoming not only the logistics challenges but also the hard experiences that we all are living during this time of pandemic.
This new job is part of the strategic commitment that Altius Group is carrying out during this year in order to strengthen their added value services tailored to the Power industry and it is added to the several Projects already executed for various Customers, especially in the LatAm area.
